25 x 20.8cm, 48pp printed recto only plus wrappers. Comb bound with plasticised covers. First edition of this artists' book. Atkinson considers various permutations of order on the meaning and logic of three concepts - the "French army", the "collection of men and machines" and "group of regiments". There is a vertical crease next to the spine on the front cover where the stiff wrappers have been unavoidably bent back to allow reading and there is a former library stamp on a single internal page (this item came indirectly from a decommissioned library collection) but otherwise very good+. This copy is signed and dated 1968 on the inside front cover by Atkinson in blue ink. Rare.
