One of the Sonnabend small format catalogues - here displaying 9 works in b/w by Arman on the subject of painting - various tools of the painter's trade are glued to the canvasses - namely, pallettes, paint tubes, brushes etc - reflecting the artist's more obviously three-dimensional works and poubelles - it is not clear if these are best considered as paintings or sculptural works. Fine. Scarce.
