30 x 21cm, 222pp. Cloth covered boards with embossed titles and tipped on photograph of Beuys. First edition of this photobook of the artist's first ever tour of the USA - with photographs taken by Staeck. On perusal one comes to realise the subject matter is not Beuys really despite the large number of shots of him walking in the streets - but rather America. This is one of only 180 examples signed, numbered and dated by the Staeck. Two short essays in English and German otherwise entirely pictorial. Near fine.
