The exhibition catalogue and artist's book for the traveling exhibition - alongside essays by Lynn Gumpert and Mary Jane Jacob is a section where Boltanski has reproduced in duotone eighteen pages of photographs from Detective Magazine without captions - hence mixing up portraits of criminals with those of their victims: no one reading the book can tell by simply looking who is who. Faint marks on the front cover else VG+.
