First edition (after only 20 examples reserved for the author) of the early work by the Surrealist poet, photo-collagist, editor, curator and (less successfully) bookseller. Throughout the 1930's, Hugnet was involved in every aspect of Surrealist group activity at home and abroad, including bookwork collaborations with Bellmer, Hayter, Picasso and Seligmann (among others). A very good+ copy of this scarce title.
