31 x 23 x 4cm, unpaginated c. 56 pp. Loose signatures (28.5 x 20cm) in the original faux wood boards. First edition of this late surrealist poetry book by Hugnet (12 separate works) with etchings by Vroom (cover, title page and 12 hors texte). The total limitation was 75 - but this is a lettered copy from the 5 copies retained for the authors and publishers and used for the legal deposit in the French Library system i.e. de facto this is one of only 3 copies available to the public! Signed by both Hugnet and Vroom. Fine apart from a small section of the boards has chipped away. Rare.
