The wonderful facsimile reproduction of Brecht's working diaries from 1958 - 1959 where he studied under John Cage - these notes wherein are an important reference and source for both artists' work - Cage's lectures are laid bare while Brecht's already awakened interest in chance as a methodology for creation is noted herein and in the footnotes where he discusses these early days with publisher Konig and others. Fine.
