First edition of this book begun on Picabia's honeymoon and continued during the artist's breakdown and recovery in Lausanne when he was forbidden to paint by his doctors - there are fifty-one poems and eighteen mechanical drawings within the text. The publication of this book was the motive force for Picabia's encounter with the Zurich Dada group. A very good example of a very rare book indeed although with typical browning and minor marks to wrappers.
