28 x 26.5cm, gloss black cardboard box divided in two as issued; content of the first edition of this exhibition catalogue for the landmark arte povera exhibition held between November 1970 and January 1971 at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Roma: an exhibition held at the height of the movement's influence and popularity. This example is one of the de-luxe hard cover edition (limitation unknwn) with metal foil covered boards complete with the black cardboard box divided in two parts as issued as a quasi-object-book. The catalogue is unpaginated but approximately 200pp and is illustrated throughout by photographs in b/w by Claudio Abate, Giorgio Colombo, Ugo Mulas, Paolo Mussat Sartor among others and texts in Italian by Achille Bonito Oliva, Giulio Carlo Argan, Alberto Boatto, Palma Bucarelli, Maurizio Calvesi, Gillo Dorfles, Filiberto Menna and Cesare Vivaldi. Just a few of the participating artists from this vast show were Vincenzo Agnetti, Getulio Alviani, Franco Angeli, Giovanni Anselmo, Alighiero Boetti, Agostino Bonalumi, Mario Ceroli, Gianni Colombo, Francesco Lo Savio, Piero Manzoni, Enrico Castellani, Pino Pascali, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Tano Festa, Giosetta Fioroni, Renato Mambor, Gino Marotta, Luciano Fabro, Jannis Kounellis, Maurizio Mochetti, Giulio Paolini, Fabio Mauri, Mario Merz, Gilberto Zorio, Mario Schifano, Mimmo Rotella, Eliseo Mattiacci, Vettor Pisani, Paolo Scheggi et al.  In very good condition with slight wear to the sides of the metal foil covered boards and a slight discolouration at the centre of the spine.  The top right corner is slightly bumped. Internally, all is fine.
