CARNIVAL AGAINST THE NAZIS EVENTS POSTER
Edinburgh: RAR/Anti Nazi League, n.d. (1978)
64 x 48cm. Five colour (pink, red, yellow, green, black) silkscreen poster (designed by Rushton) for this regional event which was planned to culminate in a concert starring The Clash and Aswad as well as local punk bands - in the event the Clash called off at the last minute and Aswad headlined. Folded twice for storage. This example has some creases and edge damage and is folded into four for storage - however is extremely colourful and attractive and VERY rare as are all regional RAR material of the period. Only c. 100 were printed.
