A GROUP OF LETTERS AND CUTTINGS AND SMALL ORIGINAL WORKS

A small collection of letters and documents relating to the work of the British Fluxus artist Robin Crozier during the period 1970 - 1974. The group consists of
two handwritten letters to Crozier relating to putative exhibitions, one in England and the other from the journal Lotta Poetica mentioning a part publicaiton in Lotta Poetica nr 7;
one typed letter from Roy Nicholson relating to Crozier's particpation in an Arts Spectrum north even and publication;
eleven, differently sized, rather browned newspaper clippings mentioning Crozier and his "Draw More Ducks" project and also his Leda and the Swan exhibition in the Bookshop Gallery in 171 complete with a photograph captioned thus: "Miss Helen Frakenthal of Victoria Avenue, Sunderland admires one of the girlie drawings in the latest Robin Crozier exhibition";
two hand-written (by the artist) transcriptions of other reviews of Crozier's work from the Evening Chronicle of 1971; a double page of handwritten text with small sketchy drawings of a girl stripping off;
four additional pages of hand-written texts by Crozier all relating to his thoughts behind the Leda and the Swan works inlcuding a full price list for the various titles with sizes of canvas,
a printed small work LEDA / OVER / VERS / ERSE / ROOT with an erotic text by the artist
and
a small single page 28 x 17cm, approx work in pencil and newspaper transfer thish is entitled "TRIALS FOR LEDA COLLAGE" and is effectively a sketch for the larger work.

A nice small collection of items relating to one of the few active Fluxateers working within the British art scene.
