2pp. (holograph text on both recto and verso). Approx. 120 words. Signed at end. A heartfelt letter of condolence to the publisher's daughter upon his (Seifert) having only just learned of Richter's death. Seifert explains that he has been hospitalized for some two years, previously, and has only just returned home. Thus, his delay in expressing his sympathies. Original postmarked mailing envelope addressed in the author's hand extant. Fine estate. Items of correspondence from Seifert (of any note) are not often encountered.
