ORIGINAL SIGNED TYPED LETTER ON ZERO STATIONERY DATED 31.7.61 + CARBON COPY OF LETTER FROM  ECKHARD NEUMANN TO ZEITSCHRIFT ZERO DATED 20 - VII - 1961
Two related letters - one from Herr Eckhard Neumann (a carbon copy of the original) written to the Zero Group (specifically to Otto Piene) where he apologies  for not being able to attend the Zero exhibition but pointing out that it was a great success and asking if he can be sent copies of Zero 3 for his antiquariaat. Slight edge damage to the right hand side. The second (replying) letter (approx 26 x 21cm, 2pp) from Otto Piene is typewritten on original Zero two-sided letter head - printed letterpress - with on the reverse a large ZERO printed in black and on the typed side a black distressed circle - the ZERO symbol. In the personal reply Piene notes that he is beyond pleased with the publication and is sending one copy with others to follow. The letter is dated 31.7.61 and is signed in blue ink by the artist at the end. While the contents of the letter are not greatly important few examples of original Zero stationery are extant and this is in very good condition.
