THE TRIALS OF OZ. Drawings by Feliks (sic) Topolski.
London: B&B, 1971
18 x 11cm, 276 pp plus printed card covers. First edition of the contemporary account of the Oz trials - perhaps the final, great "censorship" trial of Britain where the state tried hard to prosecute the publishers of the "Schoolkid" issue of Oz. John Mortimer was the QC for the defendants and witnesses included de Bono, Eysenck, and George Melly amongst others. A very readable first hand account of the trial with many verbatim accounts reproduced. Slight cracking to spine and markings (white out) to the old pricing information and a former owner's neat signature on the endpapers but otherwise very good if browned.
