VOSTELL A PARIS
n.p. (Paris?): n.p., n.d. (1960)
17 x q18.8cm, 2pp card which has been created by gluing on a printed black sheet onto a offset lithographed card with an image of a Vostell torn poster work. The text on the black card is an original text by Francois Dufrene who was another of the original Decollage artists (Raymond Hains and Jacques de la Villegle were the other two foremost creators of the mini-movement which eventually led to France's own style of Pop Art found under the banner of "les nouveaux realistes"). It is not clear for what purpose this card was created - perhaps an announcement or a handout for an unstated exhibition. Fine and scarce item from the pre-destruction period of Vostell's practice.
