15.5 x 12cm, 64pp. Original wrappers with lithographic portrait after a drawing by Modiglianani. We believe this to be the first edition of this monograph on the sculptor (although there is a mention of the 2nd edition on the cover which may be fictive) with 48 b/w full page reproductions of works and other lithographs to be found amidst the essay by the surrealist playwright and author, Vitrac. Beginnings of a slight weakening of the binding but otherwise very good.
