CANNIBALE. REVUE MENSUELLE. NO.2. (2 = ALL)
Paris, France: Au Sans Pareil, May 25 1920
23.9 x 15.5cm. 16pp. Original typographic wrappers. First edition of this second and final number of the seminal Dadaist periodical with texts including works by Aragon, Picabia, Tzara, Duchamp, Breton, Soupault, Eluard, Ribemont-Dessaignes and Dermee. One illustration by Picabia (Le cul en tete a tete) - also present here is Tzara's "Douleur en cage dada a la nage" which has a hand-collaged pasted on bus ticket (which is often missing) and which solely represents the poem. Picabia's love of fast cars is reflected in his choice of frontispiece illustration - a photograph of a Mercer 85 HP (now) vintage car. Near fine although there is the remnant of spine tape down the left 1cm of the front cover which does not detract at all. Very rare.
