21 x 14cm, plain wrappers with printed title content of 132pp of loose folios bound into signatures. The second number of the Czech avant gardist's notorious literary yet pornographic revue - copies of which were only sent out to subscribers. Original texts, translations and illustrations by Styrsky, Toyen, Halas, Konrad, Aragon, Bruner, Beardsley as well as Rimbaud, Baudelaire, Verlaine amongst others. This is one of only 250 numbered copies (in fact one of 199 on japon). The wrappers have been torn in the past and repaired with brown tape (retaining the spine and all other important elements) - and internally all are VG+ with only minor marks to the odd page. A rare and important volume displaying the franks sexuality Toyen and Styrsky allowed themselves to display with the close confines of friends and colleagues and the odd paying client. Priced to reflect scarcity and damage.
