Punk/Rock Against Racism
TEMPORARY HOARDING NR 6 (9 = ALL)
London: Rock Against Racism, Summer 1978
43 x 32cm, tabloid newspaper which unfolds to create a 64 x 43cm, 12pp newspaper. Clear punk-inspired 'ripped' design - here a special Skins issue - a deliberate attempt to break some music loving skinheads away from their perceived home in the racist National Front and bring them to RAR. Interview with Jimmy Pursey of Sham 69 and other political and music articles. A single number of this short lived music-inspired newspaper which helped to solidify opposition to the British fascists and anti-Semites. Folded centrally for storage and minor edge wear - else VG. Now very scarce.
