17.5 x 13cm, 236pp. Original wrappers. First edition of this surrealist novel with a fictive mention of being the 7th edition on the cover. There is a portrait of the author by Sima as a frontispiece. The book has thinly veiled descriptions of other members of the surrealist and Dadaist groups with, for example, Picasso and Picabia given hardly disguised names such as "Picasse" and "Picabe". An unnumbered copy aside from the du tete of only 18 copies. Near fine with only minor browning at edges.
