19 x 12.5cm, 224 pp. Printed wrappers. First edition of Breton's fifth book. There is a fictive note of this being the 4th impression but is the true first. Published on the heels of his "Manifeste du Surrealisme", "The Lost Steps" is an excellent companion text work to the latter. Wrappers slightly brittle, else a very good example of of this important theoretical work.
