18 x 14cm, 90pp. Original wrappers. First edition of these insightful reflections of Joyce by the author. In the early 30's, Soupault became an integral member of Joyce's Parisian circle, as the latter laboured toward the completion of his all encompassing 'Finnegan's Wake'. Includes a fragment from this work's 'A.L.P.' chapter, as translated by Soupault. The internal binding to the cover is coming away from the gathered folios after the half-title page but it is still attached and apart from browning to the cheap paper employed this is a very good+ example. Uncommon.
