The first edition of Nezval's translation of Breton's three key lectures - "The surrealist situation of the object - the situation of the surrealist object", "The political standpoint of art today" and the title essay "What is surrealism?". There is also an original afterword by Nezval. Only two years before this publication Andre Breton, Jacqueline Breton and Eluard had visited Prague and met the Czech surrealists where the French contingent was warmly welcomed. Very good+ copy.
