Surrealist tract
NEUTRALITE? NON-SENS, CRIME ET TRAHISON
Paris: Surrealist group, 1936
30.5 x 23cm, 1pp black on green. Surrealist tract attacking the French foreign minister for supporting a policy of neutrality against the forces of fascism. Signed in print by Acker, Breton, Hugnet, Marcel Jean, Malet, Mouton, Pastoureau, Rosey and Tanguy - interestingly the name of Jean has been neatly crossed out in green ink - presumably by Breton from whom this tract was indirectly obtained (it was found in his documents after his death). Rare. Some edge damage and minor fading otherwise very good.
