Kabouters + after Dutch Provo

PROVO NR. 15

£85.00

Amsterdam: Provo,1966
62 x 22cm, 12pp self covers. A single number of this landmark collective journal of the Amsterdam-based Provo movement, as founded by Robert Jasper Grootveld in 1965. 'Provo' was a typically Dutch 'playfully anarchist group'; its actions were generally akin to Happenings, its ideology linked to that of Constant's 'New Babylon' concepts, those of the Situationists, the anti-war protests of the period, etc. The movement eventually exhibited considerable influence upon urban planning, social housing, transport issues and cultural life in the Netherlands throughout the late 60s - mid-70s. Very good+ if a little home-made. This example as ever folded centrally due to the size.l
