Punk/Rock Against Racism
TEMPORARY HOARDING Nr 5. (9 = ALL)
London: Rock Against Racism, Spring 1978
43 x 32cm, tabloid newspaper which unfolds to create a 64 x 43cm, 12pp newspaper. Clear punk-inspired 'ripped' design with many full page images of Jimmy Pursey and Sham 69 at Victoria Park, interviews with John Cooper Clark, a massive double page photo-collage of punk and black reggae bands with the headline 'Black and white unite and fight', Mark Perry (the punk fanzine publisher) and other political articles. A single number of this short lived music-inspired newspaper which helped to solidify opposition to the British fascists and anti-Semites. One small paper lack (1 x 2cm) on the front cover and minor edge wear and browning in places, the all being folded centrally for storage - else VG. Now very scarce.
