WITTE KRANT/DE PAPIEREN TIJGER (POSTER EDITION)
Amsterdam: Witte Krant, n.d. (c. 1968/1969)
43 x 30.4cm, 12pp. A single issue of this Provo-related Dutch underground magazine. Articles include a consideration of John Peel the much loved British disk jockey, Vietnam, alternative London, amongst the usual counter culture concerns. This number from the edition is the most heavily designed of the series with many of the pages integrated into drawings and psychedelic imagery (which heavy borrows from art nouveau)  and, perhaps because of that theme, this number of the magazine has no number but it is designated as the "poster edition". That said the only poster incorporated into the publication is the double page cover which opens out to 60 x 43cm, and silkscreen-printed yellow, blue, magenta (with overlaps to create other colours) with a design "Psychic surfriding on sunny explo" by Franz Deckwitz. Some minor wear, and folded twice for storage - but overall.
