96cm x 96cm unique trial print silkscreen with diamond dust on Lenox Museum Board. Signed (frequently Smith did not sign his own work) bottom right and bind-stamped by the artist who was Warhol's printer, friend and collaborator. Smith used surviving photography of his mentor and his knowledge of Warhol's print techniques to produce this homage in the form of pastiche. The colouring on this version is red blue and lilac and was the only version in these colours produced as a trial print - and is thus unique. Fine estate.
