8 x 8 x 5cm approx. Hand painted (by Shrigley) and hand made clay sculpture of a mountain - which is not even the size of a molehill. Shrigley is a far clever artist than the humorous books would indicate - the joke is always on the viewer. Mountain is obviously funny because of the disparity between the item signified (hey, let's get down with the seminology) and the reality of the work which can snugly fit in one's hand: but the work also subtly refers to omnipotence and control over nature. Oh we lie - it's just a small blue and white paperweight. One of only 20 copies all initialled and numbered in paint on the base. Rare and rather fantastic.
