84 x 64cm approx full colour exhibition poster printed in full colour with additional foil stamping and embossing released on the occasion of the first showing of Barney's film of whaling boats and vaseline. This has a full sheet image from the final film displaying Barney and his real life partner Bjork (who has a starring role in the film) kissing during a semi-submerged tea ceremony in advance of beginning the process of carving each other up with whaling knifes to sculpture themselves as marine animals. As ever the theme with Barney is the transformation of matter. This is one of ONLY 50 deluxe prints released at the time of the San Francisco exhibition which is clearly signed by Barney bottom right. The poster is fine condition and in original dframe.
