Dick Higgins

SOME POETRY INTERMEDIA

£95.00

NYC: Unpublished Editions, 1976
54 x 39.5cm, black and purple artist-designed poster explaining Higgins' theory of Intermedia and the role of poetry within the structure of all of the arts. By far the most comprehensive (if short) definition of the term. Also prints some aphorisms written by Higgins and Samuel Coleridge (from 1814) who was the first person to invent the word intermedia even if his original conception differed later from Higgin's reinvention of the term. Folded several times for mailing but otherwise very good.
