15.5 x 15.5cm, roughly cut, teak wood with a 12 x 13cm (approx) over oil painting by Herzfeld. Anatol was a student and collaborator of Joseph Beuys and this painting while seeming like a colourful abstract appears to be a portrait of his friend with the latter's hat and eurasian staff easily identified in the foreground. An artist pasted on cardboard label is signed "ANATOL - HEICO" and dated and titles the piece - which translates as "Satan"!
